How you can help…
You can make a difference in the lives of Mitchell County residents through Mitchell County Shepherd’s Staff. Here are some ideas on how you can help.
Shepherd’s Staff is always looking for help unloading trucks, straighten shelves, prepare food boxes, and work in the community for the organization. It’s a great project for a church youth group, civic organization, or individual. You don’t have to have any special abilities…just a desire to help others!
Participate in Food Drives
Churches, civic organizations, businesses, and individuals bring much-needed food donations to Shepherd’s Staff each year through food drives they either organize or participate in with others. These donations, especially during the holidays, help us meet increased demand from our clients and restock our shelves when the need is greatest.
Each year, special events such as Empty Bowls help raise money and awareness for Shepherd’s Staff and its mission. If your church or civic organization would like to host an event that benefits Shepherd’s Staff, please contact us.
Shepherd’s Staff is always seeking donations of food and money to serve the needs of the communities in Mitchell County. All donations are tax-deductible.
